As 2024 comes to a close, it’s time to pause and reflect over another year gone by. After reviewing the ups and downs, blessings and challenges, achievements and lessons learned, our minds usually come back to one thought: purpose. Why do we do what we do?
Emotional Impact
A custom award is more than just a ring or pin. While it may seem simple, the act of acknowledging someone’s efforts or accomplishments carries a profound emotional impact - both for the giver and the recipient. Custom awards, in particular, have a unique ability to encapsulate this power. Unlike generic tokens of appreciation, these awards are tailored to reflect individual achievements and values, making them deeply personal. Our custom jewelry awards are meant to be worn with pride, as they are a tangible symbol of the recipient’s accomplishment, and their company’s gratitude.
Sharing the Pride
Although it didn’t happen this year, we discovered this story a few months ago. Since we’re a supplier, we don’t have much, if any, contact with the end customer or their recipients. This makes stories like these even more exciting for us. Our Marketing Department found this post on Facebook. It was posted by Prime Trucking Inc. and it demonstrates how these awards impact the families of award recipients as well. The full post can be found here, and the text reads:
“Prime Driver Keith Wagner recently came to us asking for some help with a special surprise for his son Seth who is 11 years old. We loved his idea and were happy to be part of it.
Keith's son Seth has been out on the road with him the last two summers on the truck learning and seeing firsthand what hard work goes into the daily life of a flatbed truck driver. Keith had his 2-year Prime Time Certified (PTC) ring resized so he could gift it to his son saying, "I try to teach my kids that hard work pays off and everything in life is earned by hard work and dedication. This would be a great way to show him that his good work has paid off." We helped draft up a Prime-official letter and mailed it off to Seth.
Congratulations goes to Keith for earning his 2-year PTC ring this year! Thank you for including us in this special moment with your son. We are grateful for the support from the family and friends for our fleet of over 8000 drivers while they are out on the road typically 3-4 weeks at a time away from home helping haul goods across the country.”
